Capcom's flamboyant take on Japan's Era of Warring States returns to the TV this year in Sengoku Basara: Judge End. Telecom Animation (Muteki Kanban Musume, Z/X IGNITION) takes over from the earlier TV series and movie's Production I.G, with Kazuya Nakai (Masamune Date), Souichiro Hoshi (Yukimura Sanada), Toru Okawa (Ieyasu Tokugawa), and Tomokazu Seki (Mitsunari Ishida) set to reprise their roles.
Newly announced, animator and episode director Takashi Sano steps up to direct with Natsuko Takahashi (07-Ghost, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0) stepping up to write. Michinori Chiba (Basilisk, Gundam 00) is on character design with Yumenosuke Tokuda and Toshimitsu Kobayashi handling animation direction.
