Nintendo will launch the pink 2DS at Australian retailers this week in conjunction with platform adventure game Kirby: Triple Deluxe.
While the bulk of the game will be a new side-scrolling platformer featuring pink protagonist Kirby, Nintendo has revealed two new additional modes in the game: Kirby Fighters, a Smash Bros.-esque brawler with four players on screen duking it out, and rhythm-based mode named Dedede’s Drum Dash.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe was well-received in GameSpot’s review, praised for its use of 3D level design, aesthetics, and rich content.
Nintendo’s handheld 2DS console gets a new colour offering this week, with the launch of the pink 2DS. The console was first released in October last year in the red and white as well as the black and blue colour schemes. The console is able to launch all 3DS and DS games, sans the stereoscopic 3D effect.
