"Persona 4 Arena Ultimax" Newcomer Set Includes First Game's Story

Japan is getting a special release of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax that should be especially enticing for those new to the fighter. The "Premium Newcomer Package" comes with a bunch of download codes, including one for the story mode from the first Persona 4 Arena game.

 

The full list of included DLC goods:

• Persona 4 Arena story mode

• Full character glasses set

• 12 additional BGMs—3 from Persona 3, 5 from Persona 4, and 4 from Persona 4 Golden

• Additional navigators Teddie and Mitsuru

 

There's also a special illustration from Shigenori Soejima, which isn't a download. 

 

 

The "Premium Newcomer Package" will be available in Japan alongside the fighter's PlayStation 3 launch on August 28, and will be priced at ¥8,315 ($82). 

 

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America this fall.
