Robots and humans suit up for adventures in deep space in the opening animation for ID-0, an upcoming original science fiction TV animation. The preview video released by Bandai Visual's official Youtube channel (below) also features the opening theme, entitled "ID-0", which is performed by Sayaka Sasaki.
The story of ID-0 is set in the far future, where robots known as "I-Machines" are used for work in extreme environments such as deep space. Maya Mikuri, a student at the Federation Academy, is piloting an I-Machine when pirates attack. She is rescued by an asteroid escavation company, and ends up being press-ganged into working on their spaceship.
ID-0 is directed by Goro Taniguchi and features animation by Sanzigen. The series will broadcast on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 beginning on April 09, 2017.
