The 2nd chapter of the Yuki Yuna is a Hero - Washio Sumi Chapter prequel film series hits Japanese theaters on April 15, and now a new trailer hints at what the next entry has in store.
Set two years before the events of Yuki Yuna is a Hero, the Washio Sumi Chapter films tell the tragic story of the previous Hero team. The 2nd film is subtitled "Tamashii" ("Spirit" or "Soul"). It features animation by Studio Gokumi and direction by Seiji Kishi and Daisei Fukoaka. "Tamashii" hits theaters in Japan on April 15, 2017.
The 3rd film, subtitled "Yakusoku" ("Promises") will be released in Japan on July 08, 2017. Yuki Yuna is a Hero - Washio Sumi Chapter will also be broadcast on Japanese television in an anime TV series format beginning in October of 2017.
