Love Confessions Continue in "Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai" TV Anime

Adolescent romance takes another twist with the announcement of a TV anime adaptation based on the Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai ("Confess Your Love Committee") series of Vocaloid songs by HoneyWorks.

Further details about the adaptation (such as the cast, the staff, and the release date) have not yet been revealed. The upcoming TV anime adaptation marks the 3rd time the Kohaku Jikkou Iinkai series has been transformed into a work of animation.

The Kohaku Jikkou Iinkai series was first adapted into a pair of theatrical anime films in 2016: I've Always Liked You, and Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o ("I wait for the moment that you love me"), both of which are directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa and feature animation by Qualia Animation.

Crunchyroll currently streams I've Always Liked You, and describes the films as follows:

This is the last time I’m going to practice… Natsuki Enomoto, a third-year student at Sakuragaoka High School, has feelings of unrequited love for her childhood friend, Yu Setoguchi. Unable to be true to her own feelings, Natsuki tells Yu that she is merely using him as a stand-in to practice confessing her love to. As Natsuki continues to pretend not having any feelings for Yu, her classmate Koyuki Ayase asks her out on a date. Will Natsuki ever be able to stop “practicing” and actually confess her love to Yu?
