When the Konosuba anime wrapped a couple weeks ago, the final episode ended with a teaser for an upcoming game from Steins;Gate's MAGES/5pb. That announcement was confirmed in this week's issue of Famitsu magazine, which adds a few details and a release window for the adventure title.
Konosuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! Judgment of this Greedy Game! is in the works for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, and it currently has a summer release window in Japan.
The original story follows Kazuma as he puts on a cursed ring that steals underwear from people around him. As the underwear keeps piling up, he learns that he'll need a large amount of money to lift the curse, which sends us right into an adventure to raise said funds.
So why doesn't Kazuma just return all the underwear? Well, to do so players will need to engage with the game's Underwear Judgment system. If you find out who the underwear belongs to you'll be able to return it in exchange for a reward event. Make a mistake in the process, however, and you'll get the punishment event you deserve.
