The official site for the upcoming anime film Gekijyoban Aikatsu!/Aikatsu! The Movie!, the first feature film based on Bandai's popular arcade collectible card game and TV anime series, has been updated with a new teaser visual featuring the four main girls: Ichigo Hoshimiya (CV: Sumire Morohoshi), Aoi Kiriya (Azusa Tadokoro), Ran Shibuki (Ayaka Ohashi), and the protagonist of the TV anime third season Akari Ozora (Shino Shimoji). They are all dressed in "Sugar Ribbon Coord."
The tagline of the poster says, "The greatest idol movie in history is born!" The Aikatsu! TV anime series, which is produced by Sunrise (Mobile Suit Gundam series, Cowboy Bebop), started on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in October 2012, and has become one of the most successful girls anime series. The film features Ichigo's special concert titled "Dai Star Miya Ichigo Matsuri" at Star Rise Stadium, where Ichigo saw the top idol Mizuki Kanzaki's concert for the first time. The film is scheduled to be released in Japan on December 13. The first edition of the advance ticket with
an original card will go on sale at theaters on August 9.
