A 80-second full trailer for the first part of the upcoming two-part OVA Suisei no Gargantia -Meguru Kouro, Haruka-/Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet -Traveling the Route, Far Away- is now online. It introduce a new character Reema voiced by Inori Minase. The story of the OVA is set in about six months after the end of the 13-episode TV series.
The first part gets a limited theatrical run on 10 screens across Japan on September 27, and its theater limited edition Blu-ray with an anthology comic book is also available at the theaters at the same time. The public release day of the Blu-ray of the first part is November 21, then the second part will be released on May 27, 2015.
