Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki to Lead Fall TV Anime "Orenchi no Furo Jijo"

The official site for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Itokichi's comedy four-panel manga Orenchi no Furo Jijo (The bath situation in my house) yesterday announced its two main voice cast and premiere schedule. 25-year-old popular voice actor Nobunaga Shimazaki voices the protagonist high school boy Tatsumi, with Tatsuhisa Suzuki as an octopus man Takasu. The voice actor for another protagonist character Wakasa, a blonde hair merman, has not yet been revealed.


 


It is also announced that the 13-episode TV anime will premiere on BS 11 at 23:54 on October 6, then will also be aired on BS 11, streamed on Nico Nico Douga and Bandai Channel. The OP theme song will be performed by five-member visual-kei band Matenrou Opera.


 


The story centers on a high school student boy Tatsumi who lives by himself. One day he saves a blond


hair merman named Wakasa in a river. The merman likes the bathtub of Tatsumi's house instantly,


then decides to live in there. The TV anime adaptation is produced by Asahi Production (Super Robot Wars


Original Generation: The Inspector, Himegoto). Sayo Aoi, who recently worked for Samuari Flamenco and


Diabolik Lovers as an episode director, makes her series directorial debut.
