As yomimaid-san reported, four-member Japanese rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN collaborates with the most popular vocaloid character Hatsune Miku for the alternative version of their latest single "ray," the leading track of their 7th album "RAY" (capital letters), which was just released in Japan yesterday on March 12. Following the band's solo version, they have posted the promotional video for the Miku-featured version on their official YouTube channel. Check the amazing collaboration PV below.
Miku's singing voice is programmed by famous vocaloid song creator kz (livetune), who belongs to the same label (Toy's Factory) with BUMP OF CHICKEN. The newly-created 3DCG model of Miku named "14 model" is produced by Crypton Future Media. And Atsunori Toshi, who produced the vocaloid opera "THE END" in Paris last November, directed the PV itself.
