A new key visual and new cast announcements have been released for ESCHA CHRON, an original stage-play that is being adapted into a pair of original animation videos with direction by Seiji Mizushima (Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life) and animation by Lerche (SCHOOL-LIVE!).
Voice actor Wataru Hatano will play a musician named Shunta Kasai in Episode 01 of ESCHA CHRON, while voice actress Rina Satō will play a woman from a snowy country named Shiori Saito in Episode 02. Chika Anzai and Kiyono Yasuno, who performed the leading roles in the original stage recital, will reprise their roles as Escha and Chron, respectively.
The ESCHA CHRON stage-play recital was originally produced for the "D-world vol. 0" event, which took place on July 10, 2016, at Hitotsubashi Hall in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, Japan. The story of ESCHA CHRON involves two girls with very different personalities who live in an empty, monochrome, future world called Terminal. By experiencing the lights, sounds, and people of present day Earth, Escha and Chron add life and color to their own world.
The release date for the ESCHA CHRON OAVs has not yet been revealed.
