Record company Lantis has posted a short version promotional video for 40-year-old voice actor Showtaro Morikubo's upcoming 9th single "Focus" on its official YouTube channel. It has been featured as the 2nd ED song for the ongoing TV anime Garo -Honoo no Kokuin- (Garo: The Animation) from its 13th episode.
Morikubo, who made his debut as a professional voice actor in 1996, is best known as the voice of Shikamaru Nara in the Naruto/Naruto Shippuden series and is currently playing Yuusuke Makishima in Yowamushi Pedal Grande Road. As a solo singer, he has released eight singles and three original albums. "Focus" is written by Morikubo himself and composed/arranged by R.O.N, who is well-known for his works for Ryoko Shintani, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Eri Kitamura, and Kensho Ono. The CD single is scheduled to be released on February 25.
