Figure and model company Kotobukiya will be releasing a figure of “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” character Homura Akemi dressed as a traditional Japanese shrine maiden and carrying a Kyubey stamp.
The figure is based on artwork from a stamp known as an “itain”, sold by online shopping site Itaindo and featuring elaborate designs of anime characters. It depicts Homura dressed in a flowing, purple and white shrine maiden outfit, her hair tied back in two pigtails. She is carrying an itain of “Madoka Magica” character Kyubey, which can be removed and used as a normal stamp.
The 1/8th scale figure measures approximately 140 millimeters tall, and retails for 9,000 yen, plus tax. It will be released in May 2015.
