Anime is full of colorful support casts, some of which even manage to overshadow series leads. Over the last week, Charapedia explored the subject of which of these characters is wasted in their secondary role and really should be given in their own anime series. Now, they've published the results of their 10,000 reader polls for deserving male and female protagonists.
The male to female breakdown in respondents was 45.9% to 54.1%. 79.3% were in their teens and 20's, with 211 characters getting suggested
