Dengekiya, the official online store for Ascii Media Works' "Dengeki" brand, has started accepting pre-orders for 1/8th scale figures of two popular heroines from Dengeki Bunko's major light novel series, Asuna from Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online, and Misaki Shokuhou from Kazuma Kamachi's A Certain Magical Index.
The 11,800 yen "Senkou no Asuna: Ainclad no Idol" figure is based on a newly drawn pinup illustration by the novel's original illustrator abec. The scheduled delivery date for the 20cm figure is in late August. The 16,200 yen "Misaki Shokuhou: Bunny Maid" figure is produced as the 10th anniversary item for the novel author's professional career, and comes with a short novel written by him featuring Misaki in this costume. The 25cm figure will be released in late July.
