In Dragon Quest Heroes, players will be able to collect Monster Coins and use them to summon monsters and fight alongside them. Up to two computer-controlled monsters can be in your party, and a recent batch of screens shows some of the Monster Coin system in action.
There are also some screens showing two of the new main characters, Act and Mar, both of whom fight with one-handed sword and shields and can use Giga Slash.
Dragon Quest Heroes hits PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 24, 2015.
