Pat Metheny Group's 1987 Song "Last Train Home" Featured as New ED Song for "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure"

It was confirmed in the first episode of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Battle in Egypt, premiered in Japan last night, that Pat Metheny Group's "Last Train Home" is featured as the new ED song for the anime. The song is included in the jazz fusion band's 1987 album "Still Life (Talking)." Their 5th studio album was released from Geffen Records (1st from the company) and won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Fusion Performance in the following year. In Japan, the digital single of the tune featuring the anime's latest main visual will be available on January 17.


 


The anime previously featured "ROUNDABOUT" (from Yes' 1971 album "Fragile") as the ED song for the 1st season, and "Walk Like an Egyptian" (from The Bangles' 1986 album "Different Light") as the 2nd ED for the 3rd season.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Battle in Egypt is set to broadcast on Crunchyroll every Friday


at 9:30 AM Pacific Time, and free members able to watch one week later. It is available worldwide excluding Japan.
