Details and a visual have been published for the anime based on Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon author Hiromu Arakawa's adaptation of Yoshiki Tanaka's (Legend of the Galactic Heroes) Persian inspired fantasy epic Heroic Legend of Arslan. Now scheduled for spring 2015 on MBS/TBS Sunday 5 pm slot, Bleach's Noriyuki Abe directs the series, Makoto Uezu (Akame ga Kill!) writes and animator Shingo Ogiso provides the character designs.
Kodansha publishes the manga in North America, and it's available digitally on Crunchyroll Manga.
Chisato Nakamura previously adapted the series into manga (published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten), while an anime from Mamoru Hamatsu was released in North America by CPM.
