VIDEO: Mamoru Miyano Joins “Cardfight!! Vanguard” Movie Cast



Next month’s Cardfight!! Vanguard The Movie, a feature with anime and live-action components, is set to introduce the manga’s Kouji Ibuki in its anime half, with Mamoru Miyano (Free!’s Rin, Gatchaman Crowds Berg Katze) voicing the character.






Cardfight!! Vanguard: The Movie is scheduled to be released in Japan on September 13.



36-year-old musician DAIGO and voice actress Suzuko Mimori star in the live-action segment “Mittsu no Game” (The three games). Mimori has voiced one of the heroine characters, Kourin Tatsunagi, in the TV anime series. Takashi Motoki, who directed a live-action TV drama STAND UP! Vanguard based on the franchise also starring DAIGO and Mimori in May 2012, comes back to the director’s chair. The anime segment “Neon Messiah” is directed by Shin Itagaki (BLACK CAT, Devil May Cry).
