Presented at Comiket, a new preview offers a look at the TV anime adaptation of Mizuho Kusanagi's (Mugen Spiral) Akatsuki no Yona, now confirmed for a fall broadcast starting in October. Kazuhiro Yoneda steps up to direct the Studio Pierrot production with Hayate the Combat Butler's Shinichi Inotsume writing and Amnesia's Maho Yoshikawa on character design. Twelve Kingdom's Kunihiko Ryo handles the music.
The 2009 ongoing Hana to Yume shoujo manga follows a princess who is saved by a bodyguard who she had found disagreeable when her cousin, who she had been crushing on, assassinates her father in an attempt to take the throne.
