The long anticipated Ufotable adaptation of modern fantasy visual novel Fate/stay night is now only half a season a way. Coming this October, the studio behind Fate/zero will kick off a split cour TV anime telling of the Rin Tohsaka focused Unlimited Blade Works route.
Takahiro Miura (director of the 6th Kara no Kyoukai: Garden of Sinners movie, storyboard artist on theFate/zero opening) will be direct directing. Character designers include Tomonori Sudo (KnK, Fate/Zero, Coyote Ragtime Show), Hisayuki Tabata (Yuyushiki), and Atsushi Ikariya (Fate/zero, Devil is a Part Timer). The cast from previous incarnations of the franchise is set to return.
