Sega may not be keen on bringing back and cleaning up Yu Suzuki’s Shenmue games, but fans can’t shake the unfinished saga of Ryo Hazuki. Korean fan Noconkid has gone one step further, putting in work on an HD remaster of Shenmue that shows just how nice a full-on polish could look.
While only certain parts of a single are have been remastered, and Noconkid says the rest will take a “long, long time” if they get done at all, the efforts thus far look pretty impressive. You can see some of the results in the videos and screens below.
