Hell Teacher Nūbē is one of those big-name Shonen Jump titles that never managed to make an impression in English speaking regions. The series about an elementary school teacher who protects his students from supernatural threats with the help of his Demon’s Hand ran 31 volumes from 1993-1999, inspired a 49 episode TV anime, three OVAs, three anime movies, and now a live-action drama, scheduled to air on NTV this October.
