Nintendo released some info on Mario Kart 8 DLC plans, which bring in new characters and more to the Wii U racer over the coming months. Among the additions are a playable Link from The Legend of Zelda series and Animal Crossing‘s Villager.
The first set is scheduled for November, and the Nintendo UK site has it priced at £7.00. The pack comes with 3 new characters, including Link, Cat Peach, and Tanooki Mario; 4 vehicles, including F-Zero‘s Blue Falcon; and 8 courses, including Wario’s Gold Mine from Mario Kart Wii and an F-Zero themed course.
The second is scheduled for May 2015, and will come with 3 new characters, including Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser, as well as 4 vehicles and 8 more courses.
Pick up both packs, either as a bundle or separately, and you’ll get 8 different-colored Yoshis and 8 different-colored Shy Guys for immediate use.
