Jokes about a last minute delay announcement aside, the five-episode anime adaptation of the sixth part of the Monogatari series, from the ninth book of NisiOisin's modern fantasy light novels with the story "Suruga Devil," is still on its way August 16th. The home video hits Japan in two volumes September 24th and October 22nd and the jacket art for the first has now been previewed.
The limited edition will also feature clear case, Ishin Nishio cnaracter commentary, and a special soundtrack disc with Akio Watanabe art .
