Square Enix wants even more people to get into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and is going about it through the combination of a 14-day free trial and a new "recruit a friend" campaign. All you have to do is log into Mog Station, recruit a friend by linking accounts, and reap the benefits.
When your friend subscribes for 30 days you'll both get a Friendship Circlet that increases experience earned by 25% when below level 25. Recruiters will get an Aetheryte Pendulum that teleports you to the aetheryte closest to New Adventurers on your friends list free of charge.
Get a friend on board for 90 days and you'll get the Draught Chocobo Whistle, described as "A special hand-carved whistle used to summon a draught chocobo, capable of accommodating a second passenger when partying with others."
