Three additional voice cast for the summer 2014 TV anime Locodol, the TV anime adaptation of Kotaro Kosugi's 4-panel manga Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita (Ordinary High School Girls Tried Being Local Idols), were announced at TBS Anime Festa 2014 held at Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo on August 9. Alongside the two leads Miku Ito (as Nanako Usami) and Sachika Misawa (Yukari Kohinata), Asami Imai, Tomoyo Kurosawa, and Emi Nitta will voice the three members of a new Locodol unit AWA2 GiRLS: Imai as Aoi Anan, Kurosawa as Tsubasa Tsurugi, Nitta as Miyako Mima. The unit will also appear in the OVA episode bundled with the first DVD/Blu-ray disc to be released in Japan on September 24.
Locodol is now available to Crunchyroll audience worldwide excluding Asia.
