A teaser site for the TV anime adaptation of Tetsuto Uesu's fantasy light novel series Shinmai Maou no Testament/The Testament of Sister New Devil launches today on August 11 with the announcement for its main staff. 45-year-old animator Hisashi Saito, who is best known for his directorial works for the Heaven's Lost Property anime adaptations directs the new TV anime for Production IMS (Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha, Date A Live II, Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu.). The TV anime is slated for sometime in 2015.

The first volume of The Testament of Sister New Devil novel series was published from Kadokawa
Shoten's light novel imprint Sneaker Bunko on September 29, 2012, and the newest sixth volume
is scheduled to be released on August 30. According to the novel series' official site, the total combined
print run of the novels and manga has reached 550,000 copies. This is the second anime adaptation for
the author following the 2012 TV anime based on his Hagure Yusha no Esutetika/Aesthetica of a Rogue
Hero novel series.
