“Gantz” Author Draws Optimus Prime

Gantz manga author Hiroya Oku has spoken about his appreciation for American action movies. He’s said that he particularly likes Die Hard and that he’s been a fan of Michael Bay since Bad Boys. With Transformers: Age of Extinction hitting Japanese theaters August 8th, he’s done an interview with Natalie about the film and presented a sketch of Optimus Prime, meshing the movie version of the Autobot leader with his Gantz suit design.

Otaku TV personality/voice actor/idol singer Shoko “Shokotan” Nakagawa has been introduced as the Japanese voice of Nicola Peltz’s Tessa Yeager. This character is the daughter of Mark Wahlberg’s inventor/single father Cade Yeager.
