Seibu Railway has launched its latest anime tourism promotion with "Attack on Chichibu," two summer and fall seasonal introductions to the picturesque city in western Saitama leading into November's Attack on Titan: Guren no Yumiya compilation movie.
The tour features a smartphone stamp rally, in which visits to Survey Points unlock recorded messages from Eren, Mikasa and Levi, as well as prizes such as wallpapers, stickers and clearfiles, which can be collected at the Ueno Royal Museum.
Stops include:
Seibu-Chichibu Station
Chichibu Shrine
Chichibu Park Bridge
Jigen-ji temple
Takasago Horumonyaki
Ryu-zei festival (season 2 only)
There's also a Twitter campaign for movie tickets and other prizes.
Last summer, the railway ran a similar AnoHana promotion:
