Square Enix’s Dragon Quest X MMO is finally making the leap to Nintendo 3DS in Japan and, much like the smartphone version, it will do so via cloud streaming. 3DS players will be able to play along with those adventuring on other platforms when DQX hits Nintendo’s portable on September 4.
Dragon Quest X will be priced at ¥3,800 ($37) on 3DS and will have a subscription fee similar to the other versions. A 3-day pass is ¥350, a 10-day pass is ¥650, and a 30-day pass is ¥1,500 ($15). Those hoping for an eye-popping experience will be bummed to learn DQX won’t support stereoscopic 3D.
