Popular anime voice actress Ayana Taketatsu has been featured in Yoshinoya's promotional campaign for its "Atama-no Oomori" dish, which has extra beef with less rice. Yoshinoya is one of the largest chain of gyudon (beef bowl) restaurants, and she has been known as a big fan of their dishes.
Yoshinoya started offering "Atama-no Oomori" as its official menu in October 2013. Thanks to Taketatsu's great popularity, it has become one of the most popular dishes selling 13 million bowls in one year. In commemoration of the first anniversary of the dish, the company produced a new TV CM featuring her eating the dish deliciously. In addition, her latest song "Kajirikake no Ringo" (6th single/Denki-gai no Honya-san OP) will be broadcasted in Yoshinoya's 1,100 stores across Japan from today.
