*Kizuna is often also referred to as Kizuna-chan, where "-chan" is a suffix which expresses that the speaker finds the person endearing.

友達 [ともだち (tomodachi)] - friend.
ライバル
ライバル [raibaru] - rival.
新た・新しい
新た・新しい [あらた・あたらしい (arata・atarashii)] - new.
Note how the reading of the kanji "新" changes depending on the hiragana that comes after it. "新た"is a na-adjective, while 新しい is an i-adjective.
党首
党首 [とうしゅ (toushu)] - leader. usually used to refer to leaders of political parties or activist groups.
校内
校内 [こうない (kounai)] - within the school.
唯一
唯一 [ゆいつ (yuitsu)] - one and only.
お嬢様
お嬢様 [おじょうさま (ojousama)] - princess.
〜的
〜的 [~てき (~teki)] - When 的 comes after a noun, it converts the noun into an adjective.
(by itself, it is read as [まと (mato)], and means "target")
Some examples include:
- 一般的 [いっぱんてき (ippanteki)] - generally. [一般 = general]
- 感動的 [かんどうてき (kandouteki)] - moving. [感動 = deep emotion]
- お嬢様的 [おじょうさまてき (ojousamateki)] - princess-like. [お嬢様 = princess]
存在
存在 [そんざい (sonzai)] - presence/existence.
として
として [toshite] - as (...someone/...something).
eg.
- 学生として [がくせいとして (gakusei toshite)] - as a student.
男子
男子 [だんし (danshi)] - male/boy.
憧れ
憧れ [あこがれ (akogare)] - adoration/admiration
本当
本当 [ほんとう (hontou)] - truth/reality
普通
普通 [ふつう (futsuu)] - usual/common/ordinary
