Yokai Watch 2 is already available in Ganso and Honke versions in Japan, and as you might have noticed they performed pretty darn well for Level-5. According to this month's issue of CoroCoro Comic magazine, a third version is on the way, with Yokai Watch 2: Shinuchi scheduled for release on Nintendo 3DS in Japan on December 13.
Priced at ¥4,968 ($46), Yokai Watch 2: Shinuchi (Headliner) is compatible with save data from previous releases. The retail version comes packing a Buchinyan medal, and a QR code will make a Jibakoma appear in the game. Those who purchase it via download will get a Masked Nyan in place of the medal.
Among the new features in Shinuchi are the new Dark Nyan ghost, new quests, new boss monsters in Yokai Watch Busters mode, and the ability to befriend the five Kaima ghost leaders.
