As one season ends and another begins, the top anime of summer have been ranked by aggregating the satisfaction rankings on Japanese streaming site Niconico. Comedy was the clear winner as Barakamon took the day with an average 71.0% AA, followed by Monthly Shoujo Nozaki-kun with 60.6% AA rating.
Sword Art Online II might have been highly anticipated oingoing into the season, but left summer at #13 and 23.7% AA.
