Crunchyroll to Stream "Akatsuki no Yona" Anime

Crunchyroll has another announcement today, with the addition of Akatsuki no Yona to the fall anime simulcast lineup. The series is set to broadcast every Tuesday starting October 7 at 8:00am Pacific Time. Free members will be able to catch episodes a week after they debut.


 


Akatsuki no Yona is based on the manga by Mizuho Kusanagi, and produced by Studio Pierrot (Naruto Shippuden, Sabagebu! -Survival Game Club!-). It will be available worldwide except Asia.


 



 


Crunchyroll's synopsis:


Akatsuki no Yona centers around the princess of the Kingdom of Kouka, Yona. Despite her father’s disapproval, she’s in love with and plans to marry her cousin, Soo-won. However, her world gets turned upside down on her 16th birthday, and she is forced to flee from the palace. Now, with her friend and bodyguard Hak, Yona must set out on a journey to find out and fulfill her destiny.
