Teaser Visual for Survival Game-themed TV Anime "Sabagebu!" Revealed

The teaser site and Twitter account for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Hidekichi Matsumoto's Sabagebu! - Survival Game Club manga officially launched today on March 3. The site has posted the teaser visual featuring the anime version characters designed by Masashi Kudo, who is best known as the character designer for the Bleach TV anime/film series.

The manga has been serialized in Kodansha'a monthly shoujyo manga magazine Nakayoshi since the January 2011 issue and so far five tankobon volumes have been published in Japan. The story revolves around a 15-year-old first grade high school girl Momoka Sonokawa. At the high school she recently transferred to, she is forced to join the Survival Game Club by the head of the club Miou Outori who is confident in her shooting skills. Unfortunately for her, none of the members of the club is an ordinary high school girl.

Masahiko Ohta (Mitsudomoe, Yuruyuri) directs the series for Pierrot Plus (Tegami Bachi, Beelzebub) and

Takashi Aoshima (Kotoura-san, Love Lab) works on series composition. The voice cast for the five main

characters will be joining the talk event at Anime Japan 2014 on March 23. And the first promotional

video will be shown at Bandai Namco and Pierrot's booths during the two day events. The TV anime is

scheduled to start sometime in 2014.
