Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex mastermind Kenji Kamiyama started off as a background artist at Studio Fuga in 1985. So, while it's easy to think him as being young, considering his association as a protege of Mamoru Oshii, his youth oriented work on Eden of the East and his forward thinking approach to anime, the industry veteran is actually turning 48 years old today.
