Welcome to the VGChartz Gap charts. The charts will be updated monthly and each article will focus on a different gap chart. The charts include comparisons between the 7th generation and 8th generation, as well as comparing the 8th generation consoles. All sales are worldwide, unless otherwise stated.

Xbox One Total Sales: 4,845,340


Xbox 360 Total Sales: 3,696,609


June 2014 is the eighth month of the Xbox One being on sale. The gap decreased during the month when compared to the Xbox 360′s eighth month on sale. The gap decreased by 285,260 units in favor of the Xbox 360. The Xbox One currently leads by 1,148,731 units.


Both consoles launched in November. The Xbox 360 launched in November 2005, while the Xbox One launched in November 2013. The Xbox One has sold 4845,340 units in its first six months, while its predecessor the Xbox 360 sold 3,696,609 units.
