"Samurai Warriors 4" Gets 'Special Anime Pack' PS4 Edition in the West

When Samurai Warriors 4 launches in the west it will be available in a Special Anime Pack collector's edition that comes with a bunch of extra stuff for the PlayStation 4 version. The 10th anniversary set includes special packaging, Samurai Warriors 4, the Samurai Warriors: Legend of the Sanada anime on Blu-ray, an official soundtrack CD, and a handful of DLC costume packs.

Outfit sets include Special Costume Pack 4 with gear for Garcia, Ina, Nene, and Oichi; Old Costume Pack 1 for Yukimura, Mitsuhide, Nobunaga, Noh, Oichi, and Ranmaru; and Edit Parts Pack 1, which includes facial customization and Western-themed armor.

There are also pre-order incentives at various retailers. Putting money down at GameStop gets you Scenario Pack 1, which includes new stages "Sinister Beauties" and "Men of Charm and Courage" and new items "Gold Lacquered Box" and "Lion Censer," as well as special costumes for Mitsunari Ishida and Toyohisa Shimazu.

Pre-order at Amazon or Best Buy and you'll get Weapon Pack 1—which comes with new weapons for over 25 characters—and Old Costume Pack 2, which decks out Keiji Maeda, Kenshin Uesugi, Kunoichi, and Shingen Takeda in outfits inspired by the original Samurai Warriors.

Samurai Warriors 4 hits PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita in North America and Europe on October 21 and 24, respectively.
