Yu Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana’s sci-fi manga Terra Formars is set to be adapted into an OVA covering the events of the BUGS 2 arc from the year 2599, then a TV anime with Annex 1 arc set in 2620. While OVAs will be released with volumes 10 and 11 of the series in August and November, the TV series starts in the fall.

Viz announced plans to release the sci-manga in North American starting this summer. In it, humanity sends mold and cockroaches to Mars in the 21st century to prime it for colonization. In the 26th century, a group of scientists travel to the planet, only to be wiped out by hulking humanoid roaches. Mankind responds by sending a squad of warriors to the planet.
