While we patiently wait for tomorrow's premiere of the anime on Crunchyroll, Japan is getting an enhanced port of the Bakumatsu Rock rhythm game. According to this week's Famitsu, Bakumatsu Rock: Ultra Soul is in the works for PS Vita, with a Japanese release planned for both that and PSP on September 25.
New features in Ultra Soul include Perry Junior making an appearance as an enemy and an upgraded system that enhances the Voice Arte battles. First-print copies pack the Bakumatsu Rock Zekkyou! Nekkyou! Senkyo Battle drama CD, and a limited "Ultra Soul Box" set comes with the Steam Mystery! Hot Springs Mystery Case!! OVA. Grab a first print of that one and you'll get a priority application for a "Bakumatsu Rock Ultra Ecstasy Live" event ticket.
