“Pokémon” Gets Symphonic in Upcoming Orchestral Concert Tour



Fans of Pokémon and its many catchy tunes should be pumped to learn of an upcoming official concert series called Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions. The orchestral tour is set to premiere at the Warner Theater in Washington, DC on Friday, August 15, just prior to the kick-off of the 2014 Pokémon World Championships, which will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.



Following that up is a performance at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA on September 19. Ticket info on both performances, with more dates and locations to come, can be found at the official website.




The musical retrospective reunites key creative producers from the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert tour, and includes all-new orchestral arrangements of fan favorite tunes from across the series. Some of the featured games include:



Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Yellow


Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, Pokémon Crystal


Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon Emerald


Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Platinum


Pokémon Black and Pokémon White


Pokémon X and Pokémon Y
