The latest issue of Famitsu magazine features a special announcement from Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy series. Turns out the Gooch has a new game on the way called Terra Battle, an RPG currently in development for smartphones in Japan.
Sakaguchi’s Mistwalker studio (Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, The Last Story) recently filed a trademark for the title, and now some actual info is trickling out. The Famitsu interview covers the game’s staff, the possibility of a port for home consoles, and some future teases, and Sakaguchi will be discussing the game at this week’s Japan Expo.
