Crunchyroll Adds “Is There a Vet in the House?” JDrama



Crunchyroll is adding a new live-action JDrama series to its summer lineup with the announcement of Is There a Vet in the House? The series is set to broadcast every Friday starting July 4 at 11:00pm Pacific Time for premium members, with free members able to watch one week later.



Is There a Vet in the House? will be available in the following territories: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and South America.




Crunchyroll’s synopsis:


Is There a Vet in the House? follows the story of veterinarian Shiba Kentaro who runs the Shiba Veterinary Clinic in Tokyo. Kentaro is earnest and kind and frequently falls in love with female pet owners and can’t help but meddle in his clients’ affairs.



The cast of Is There a Vet in the House? includes Takanori Jinnai as Kentaro, Miyu Yoshimoto as Kenatro’s adopted daughter Hinako, and Kentaro’s mother- Nurse Hanae, played by Yoko Nogiwa. Is There a Vet in the House? is written by Mitsuru Tanabe, who also wrote other live-action series such as Henshin (2014) and Dinner (2013).
