The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy blasts its way onto the PlayStation Vita this week. The game is a collection which includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked & Loaded, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal.
The three games were originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2002, 2003, and 2004 respectively. The first Ratchet & Clank game was very well received in GameSpot’s review, praised for its well-balanced gameplay and story. Its sequel garnered a similar reception, and introduced RPG elements into the series. The third game, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, brought a multiplayer mode to the series that was positively received.
For those a little more sports-inclined, Wii Sports Club launches for the Wii U this week. The game is a HD remake of Wii Sports, and was initially launched exclusively on the Nintendo eShop in separated instalments late last year. Wii Sports Club includes tennis, bowling, baseball, golf, and boxing.
