A first volume of Hiroya Oku's latest manga, Inu Yashiki, is set to be collected in Japan on May 23rd. Like the author's hyper-violent alien hunt Gantz, this new 2014 ongoing is about another second chance at life of sorts.
Here, a dying old man, loved only by his dog, is killed in an alien crash landing, only to be rebuilt as a machine.
The first chapter is online (in Japanese) at www.moae.jp/comic/inuyashiki/1.
