This summer will see an anime adaptation of Marvelous AQL’s PSP adventure/rhythm game Bakumatsu Rock, about Japan’s civil war re-imagined as a rock battle between Shinsengumi and patriots. A series of character CDs lead into this starting with last month’s Ryōma Sakamoto single, continuing with Shinsaku Takasugi out on the 28th, then Kogoro Katsura June 4th. An April 23rd “What ‘s this?” cast CD has kicked off a string of singles leading up to the anime.
