Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot spoke last year about how the company was planning to still support the Wii U during the 2013 holiday season and would review their commitment to Nintendo’s console after that. Now it seems that commitment is over.
Ubisoft will not be bringing any Wii U or 3DS titles to next month’s E3 2014 event. “We won’t be showing off any Nintendo games at E3 this year,” a representative told NintendoWorldReport.
Watch Dogs is still scheduled to be released on the Wii U this year but it appears that will be the extent of support from Ubisoft for Nintendo’s Wii U for the foreseeable future.
